Week 2 done! I’m starting to look forward to getting on the treadmill. The runs were fine, a little longer than last week but with more rest. I got my Spotify in order so I’m running along to Major Lazer
I’ve been using the C25K app for all of this in case you haven’t caught my first post.
I walk at 6km/h and jog at 9km/h and I do this on a treadmill at the gym
Week 2 consists of:
5-minute brisk warm-up walk
Alternate between 90 seconds jogging and 2 minutes walking for 20 minutes
5 Minute Cooldown walk
How I found it:
I wasn’t worried about this week’s step up because it’s not much more than week 1. If anything it felt like I was running less. My top tip for this week is to set yourself some long term goals. I’ve decided that eventually, in the long long term, that I want to run a half marathon. I think this will help me because I won’t be rushing through and I’m going to be taking my time on that one.
